About MonChezMoi

MonChezMoi is an independent project created by one author around a simple idea: making life at home more practical, comfortable and enjoyable.

A home should do more than look good. Above all, it should suit the people who live there, their habits, needs and budget — and the animals they share their daily lives with.

That idea is where MonChezMoi began.

The home as we actually live in it

The project explores interiors and design, with a particular focus on how they affect everyday life.

How do you organize a small space? Where do you store things you rarely use? How do you choose furniture you will keep for years? How do you arrange your home when you rent? How do you make a home comfortable for both you and your cat or dog? How do you avoid small layout mistakes that become daily irritations?

MonChezMoi explores these questions through practical articles, research and accessible guides.

The aim is to help everyone create a home that truly suits them, rather than showcase perfect interiors.

Tools to bring ideas into your own home

The articles are only one part of the project.

MonChezMoi is also developing an apartment design and planning tool. It aims to make it easier to explore ideas, think through the organization of your space and visualize changes before making them at home.

Learning to plan your home

A course on home planning is also in preparation.

The idea is to bring together, in a structured learning path, the knowledge needed to improve your own home: space planning, ergonomics, furniture, materials, lighting, storage, maintenance and other decisions that affect everyday comfort.

MonChezMoi is growing gradually. New topics, guides and tools are added as research progresses and questions arise in real life.
